A set of four wall lights attributable to Mazzega, Murano, Italy, late 20th century

£295.00

A lovely set of four wall lights made in Murano, Italy around the late 1970’s. These four wall lights (or sconces) are made entirely out of clear glass with a hint of orange to the top and bottom ends. The interior bulbs are concealed by a mottled affect to the inside. When illuminated they give a lovely warm glow and mid century retro chic to any interior. They can also be mounted horizontally if required.

Although not signed, these wall sconces are almost certainly the work of Gianni Mazzega, a prominent producer of glass in Murano who worked closely with a variety of designers such as Carlo Nason in the 1970s and 1980s.

Condition: all lamps need wiring into the mains, two lamps with brass nuts, two lamps with chromed nuts to either end so possibly replacements. Please refer to photographs
