Extremely rare centrepiece fashioned from a huge hippopotamus tusk with silver plated mounts and crystal bowls. Probably a one of a kind, mounted in England in the latter quarter of the 19th century.
Condition: stress fractures at the base of the supports to the glass, invisible once the glass is placed
