A green glass drinking set by Gucci, Italy, late 20th century
An elegant drinking set for liquor, sweet wine, or even just for water, commissioned by the world renowned luxury fashion brand Gucci around the latter part of the 20th century. The hand made green glasses sit within a cotton fabric band and embellished with an anchor to each. A wonderful drinking set which would look fantastic in any waterside home or simply for anyone with an eye for that retro Gucci style which made them popular in the 20th century and continue to be popular to this day.
Condition: original Gucci sticker present only on the bottle. In our opinion the bottle would never have had a stopper as the glass to the inside of the bottle neck is smooth. Could perhaps have been fitted with a cork stopper. Some variations in colour in the handmade green glasses, please refer to photographs
