Antique 19th Century Victorian exceptional & very unusual set of four solid silver candelabra. Each large seven-light and smaller four-light candelabra set with repousse neo-classical bobeches issuing from ram's head supports, decorated throughout with classical figures, beetles, frogs, and other natural and mythological winged creatures raised on a repousse base, supported by grotesque mask feet. Each part is Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1872 (r) and 1873 (s), Maker's mark AM (Alexander Macrae).
