An elegant large cigar humidor by S.T. Dupont, Paris, crafted in richly grained wood veneer with contrasting light wood trim and a brass handle engraved “S.T. Dupont – Paris.” The interior is lined in cedar and fitted with a built-in hygrometer and humidification system, ensuring optimal storage conditions for cigars. The box features a removable divider for organised storage and refined brass hinges, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship associated with the Maison Dupont. A sophisticated and functional accessory for the discerning cigar collector.
Founded in Paris in 1872 by Simon Tissot-Dupont, S.T. Dupont began as a maker of fine leather goods before expanding into writing instruments and luxury lighters in the mid-20th century. The Ligne 2, introduced in the 1970s, quickly became the brand’s flagship, renowned for its distinctive aesthetic, high-quality precious metals, and refined lacquer finishes. Condition: very good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Minor marks to the exterior and interior, but overall well preserved. Hygrometer and fittings present. Please refer to photographs.
