A pair sculptural coffee or side tables from the Triple Play series, designed by Gaetano Pesce and produced by Fish Design. One executed in vivid red resin and the other in bright yellow with bold black graphic inclusions, the organically shaped tops are punctuated by irregular apertures and supported on exposed stainless steel rod legs. As with all Fish Design productions, each table is individually cast, ensuring subtle variations that make every example unique. This set is numbered 48/2023 and 09/2023, and can be used together as a dynamic graduated coffee table arrangement or separately as striking side tables.

Gaetano Pesce is one of the most influential and radical figures in postwar design, known for challenging the conventions of industrial production through the use of colour, imperfection and expressive materials. Trained as an architect and active across furniture, art and architecture, Pesce has consistently championed the idea that objects should reflect human individuality rather than uniformity. His work is represented in major museum collections worldwide, including MoMA and the Centre Pompidou, and remains central to contemporary design discourse.

The Triple Play series is a continuation of Pesce’s long-standing exploration of resin as both a structural and narrative material. Produced by Fish Design, the series embraces chance and variation, with each pour capturing a moment in time. The perforations, colour contrasts and visible construction elements reflect Pesce’s belief in transparency and honesty of process, resulting in pieces that sit at the intersection of functional furniture and collectible design art.
