A hand blown Murano glass table lamp, Venice, recent manufacture
A tall cylindrical Murano glass table lamp with conical top and intricate oval patterning throughout the surface, presented on a white circular base. The pattern is subtle and rhythmic, giving the lamp a refined textile-like character while the glass itself maintains perfect clarity and proportion. Decorative value is strong because the piece combines sculptural scale with delicate surface behaviour, offering both presence and restraint in equal measure.
Recent Murano production delivers excellent control of pattern embedding and light diffusion, allowing the illumination to pass softly through the glass and animate the texture. Contemporary, minimalist and architect-led interiors receive this beautifully because the lamp operates as both a refined lighting object and a calm sculptural gesture of Venetian craftsmanship.
Condition: a slight indentation to the glass which would have happened during the manufacturing process, otherwise excellent condition. Please refer to photographs
