A striking Murano glass mushroom table lamp produced in Italy during the 1970s, embodying the playful organic forms and vibrant colours that defined Italian lighting design of the period. The lamp features a bold, rounded orange glass base supporting a generously proportioned domed shade in white opaline glass decorated with an attractive mottled pattern, creating a beautiful contrast between vivid colour and softly textured shade.

When illuminated, the crackled shade diffuses a warm, ambient glow while the metallic inclusions shimmer subtly beneath the surface, adding depth and visual interest. The bright tangerine-orange base provides a quintessential 1970s accent, balancing the restrained elegance of the shade with a confident pop of colour.
