An extendable arc floor lamp with perspex shade, Italy, circa 1970
A vintage Italian arc floor lamp from around 1970 featuring a curved chrome stem mounted on a circular brown marble base and finished with a white perspex shade. The form is adjustable, allowing the reach of the arm to be extended, making it both practical and elegant in proportion. The clean geometry and contrasting materials give the lamp a distinctly modernist character, typical of Italian lighting design from the period.
The combination of polished chrome, translucent perspex and marble lends the piece a refined sculptural quality, allowing it to function as both lighting and architectural element.
