The art of cutting paper to decorate objects and furniture has its origins dating back hundreds if not thousands of years. However there was a revival for ths great art in the Victorian period and one of the most desirable objects for “decoupage“ was a room divider. This wonderful example of a decoupage Victorian room divider is in fantastic condition, both sides being profusely decorated and makes a wonderful quirky addition to any room.
Condition: some of the hinges need attention (please see photos) , otherwise excellent
