A striking Spanish made coffee table in the early 1970s by Valenti. The faux elephant tusks are made entirely out of resin, intertwined with a realistic rope made out of solid brass. The tusks support an oveal bevelled glass, all of which are in exceptional condition.
Valenti is a Spanish designer based in Barcelona who was prolific in the early 1970s making some very eclectic furniture often taking inspiration from the natural world. One of the forefathers of a style later to be labelled as Hollywood Regency, his items are much sought after and make a real statement in any modern interior or collectors of mid century artworks.
Condition: excellent vintage condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use, please refer to photographs
