A rare and sculptural ice pail designed by Mauro Manetti, formed as a stylised artichoke with overlapping leaves rendered in textured pewter. The organic, architectural form is characteristic of Italian decorative design of the 1970s, blending classical botanical inspiration with a bold modern sensibility. The removable lid follows the natural contours of the artichoke, revealing a fitted interior liner. Marked to the underside Firenze and Made in Italy. An iconic and highly collectible barware object.
Condition: overall good vintage condition with visible surface wear, light scratches, and areas of patina consistent with age and use. Minor rubbing to high points enhances the sculptural detail. Please refer to photographs
