A vintage Murano glass vase, hand made on the island of Murano and showcasing the rich tradition of Venetian glassmaking. The vase is formed in vibrant red glass with swirling inclusions of blue, green and milky white, enhanced by fine bubbles suspended within the body of the glass. The organic, gently flared rim and fluid contours reflect the freeform aesthetic associated with Murano production of the mid to late 20th century. Each element of the decoration is worked into the glass by hand, resulting in subtle variations that emphasise the artisanal nature of the piece.
