One of the rarest trunks we have ever come across: a Louis Vuitton trunk of small proportions, most likely used as a train trunk for taking personal effects on board rather than with all the other passenger trunks in the luggage rooms. Of wonderful proportions and complete with its lift out tray, it dates back to the late 19th / early 20th century. In excellent condition and harking back to times of passenger ships and 1st class travel of bygone eras, it is a great conversation piece that would make a welcome addition to any home, both modern or traditional as well as an excellent addition to any collector of vintage Louis Vuitton luggage and memorabilia.
