An early 20th century Louis Vuitton trunk in monogram canvas, later customised as a cocktail bar and humidor for 300+ cigars
A fabulous Louis Vuitton trunk, made in the early part of the 20th century, with customised interior revealing a cocktail bar and humidor for 300+ cigars. The customisation has been carried out by the finest Italian craftsmen to the highest standard, with first grade microfibre hides, Spanish cedar wood lined interior humidor with sponge humidifying filter and adjustable height / removable shelves.
The trunk itself dates to the 1920s/1930s, with lozine trim and brass fittings, the highest standard fitting available with Louis Vuitton. Covered in the world famous LV monogrammed canvas, with its lozine borders and brass fittings it would have been the top of the line even at the time of purchase some 100 years ago. Oozing style and elegance this trunk makes for a fantastic conversation piece suitable for any interior, both modern or traditional.
A similar trunk was been sold as far back as 2016 for nearly $70,000 in Christies, Dubai and the value of these vintage branded luxury items has rocketed in the last decade:

Condition: The interior of the trunk is in superb condition as it has been recently customised. The exterior shows signs of wear and tear as expected on a well travelled trunk that is 100 or more years old but is overall in great condition.
