A striking Bitossi Rimini Blu vase, produced in Italy during the 1960s–1970s and representing one of the most iconic ceramic designs of the post-war period. Designed within the celebrated Rimini Blu range, the vase embodies the bold textures, geometric decoration, and vivid colour palette that established Bitossi as one of the leading names in Italian ceramic design.

The vessel is decorated with a series of horizontal bands featuring intricate geometric and stylised motifs in relief, highlighted by the rich cobalt and turquoise blue glazes that define the Rimini Blu collection. The deeply impressed patterns create a strong sense of texture and depth, while the variations within the glaze produce a vibrant interplay of colour across the surface.

Developed under the artistic direction of Aldo Londi, the Rimini Blu series became one of Bitossi's most successful and enduring designs, combining ancient decorative influences with a distinctly modern Italian aesthetic.
