A striking Italian coffee table dating to the 1980s, executed in glass, brass and perspex. The rectangular glass top is set within a brass frame and supported by a bold architectural base incorporating clear perspex scroll-form supports and a lower glass tier.

The combination of polished brass and transparent perspex creates a glamorous, light-reflecting aesthetic synonymous with the Hollywood Regency style. The layered construction and sculptural side elements give the piece both visual drama and refined elegance, making it an ideal centrepiece for a sophisticated interior.

While unmarked, the design is reminiscent of Italian makers working in the manner of Romeo Rega, whose work frequently combined brass, glass and lucite in bold geometric compositions during the 1970s and 1980s.

Condition: good vintage condition with light age-related wear. Minor surface marks to the glass and slight wear and patination to the brass consistent with age. Perspex elements in good order. Structurally sound and ready for use. Please refer to photographs.
