A striking sculptural occasional or side table dating from the 1980s, designed in the manner of Anthony Redmile.
The base is formed from a dramatic cluster of curved faux tusks, arranged in a radiating composition and finished in warm ivory and ochre tones. Each element is capped with polished metal fittings, creating a distinctive decorative framework beneath the circular clear glass top.
The clustered construction and combination of exotic-inspired forms, polished metal and glass are characteristic of the flamboyant luxury associated with British decorative design of the period and particularly the work of Anthony Redmile.
Condition: presented in good vintage condition, with age-related wear and surface marks consistent with use. Please refer to the photographs for further details of condition.
