A teak wall mirror, Italy, circa 1960
A stylish Italian wall mirror dating from the 1960s, with an elongated asymmetrical lozenge-shaped form typical of mid-century design.
The shaped mirror plate is set within a warm teak frame, gently tapering towards the top and bottom and widening through the centre. Suspended from a simple leather strap, adding to the understated sculptural quality of the design.
An elegant and decorative example of Italian mid-century design, suitable for a hallway, bedroom or dressing area.
Condition: good vintage condition with surface wear, scratches and marks to the frame and some age-related spotting and foxing to the mirror plate. Please refer to photographs.
