A chrome multi-light table lamp by Reggiani, Italy, 1970s
A striking and sculptural table lamp by Reggiani, Italy, dating to the 1970s. The design features an arrangement of polished chrome cylindrical stems of varying heights, each topped with a spherical bulb, creating a dramatic skyline-like composition.
The clustered vertical tubes rise from a circular chrome base, forming an architectural and rhythmic structure characteristic of Italian modernist lighting from the period. When illuminated, the exposed bulbs produce a warm glow that reflects beautifully off the chrome surfaces, enhancing the lamp’s dynamic, almost futuristic presence.
Founded in the 1950s, Reggiani became one of Italy’s most important lighting manufacturers, recognised for its innovative approach to modern design and technical excellence. During the 1960s and 1970s, the company produced a range of bold, space-age and architectural lighting that reflected the optimism and experimentation of the era. Today, vintage Reggiani pieces are highly regarded for their sculptural qualities and enduring modern appeal.
Condition: good vintage condition. Light age-related wear and minor surface marks to the chrome consistent with use. Fully functional. A couple of the chrome tubes are not screwed tight to the base and have some “wobble“. Please refer to photographs.
Dimensions: 65cm high(excluding bulbs), 30cm diameter
