A spherical Murrina Millefiori Murano glass table lamp with dense multicoloured murrine arranged in a continuous mosaic across the entire outer surface, presented on a polished metal base. Light behaves through the glass as saturated colour scatter and transforms the object into a jewel like volume when lit, with very high decorative impact even in daylight unlit state. Interior presence is immediately strong because the lamp reads as a piece of glass art first and as a functional light second.

Millefiori Murrina is one of the signature historic Venetian methods and remains one of the most technically difficult to execute correctly. Modern Murano production allows this to be produced in a way that retains the cultural and visual memory of the historic techniques while giving the advantage of clarity, brightness and no age fatigue. Contemporary interiors, maximalist interiors and collectors of colour forward Venetian glass will all take this extremely well because the lamp behaves as a sculptural focal point in a room rather than discreet background lighting.
