The lamp is composed of a substantial hand-blown Murano glass globe resting upon a cylindrical white glass base. The globe is executed in clear glass with a finely textured, frosted interior, creating a soft diffused appearance that is enlivened by a series of applied vertical coloured glass canes in vibrant orange, pale blue, and opaque white. These gracefully curving canne introduce rhythm and movement to the spherical form, while demonstrating the technical precision associated with Murano's renowned glassmaking tradition.

The cylindrical base is formed from opaque white glass with a subtle swirling texture that complements the decorative treatment of the globe.
