A charming Italian bamboo conservatory suite dating from the 1970s, comprising a matched pair of rounded lounge chairs and a coordinating oval coffee table. Crafted from warm honey-toned bamboo with tightly wrapped rattan bindings, the set embodies the relaxed elegance of Mediterranean and coastal design popular during the period.
The chairs feature generous circular backs formed from evenly spaced bamboo spindles, creating an airy silhouette while offering comfortable support. Raised on splayed bamboo legs with reinforcing stretchers, they are both lightweight and sturdy. The accompanying coffee table echoes the same construction, with an oval slatted top and sculptural bamboo underframe, providing a cohesive centrepiece for the set.
