A pair of iconic EA117 office chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames, produced by Vitra in the late 20th century. One of the most enduring designs of post-war modernism, the EA117 combines refined proportions with exceptional comfort, making it equally suited to office, dining, or contemporary living spaces.
Each chair features a ribbed black leather upholstered seat and back, suspended within a lightweight polished aluminium frame with matching armrests. The chairs are raised on polished four-star swivel bases, their clean architectural lines reflecting the Eames' pioneering approach to furniture design. The combination of premium materials and restrained detailing has ensured the model's continued popularity since its introduction.
Both chairs retain their original Vitra manufacturer's labels, confirming their authenticity. Their versatile aesthetic and renowned ergonomic design make them an excellent addition to both residential and commercial interiors.
Condition: presented in good vintage condition, with light age-related wear to the leather including minor creasing and surface marks consistent with use. The polished aluminium frames and bases display light signs of wear, while both chairs remain structurally sound and function as intended. Please refer to the photographs for details of condition.
