A stylish Italian mid-century armchair dating from the 1950s–60s, with a high gently reclining back, broad seat and elegantly angled upholstered arms.
The chair retains its warm caramel-coloured upholstery, giving it a particularly attractive period appearance. The clean, architectural profile is contrasted by four slender splayed brass legs terminating in small rounded feet, a characteristic detail of Italian furniture of the period.
The combination of generous proportions, tapered lines and delicate brass supports gives the chair a distinctly elegant post-war Italian character, equally suited as an occasional chair or statement armchair.
Condition: in good vintage condition with wear, marks and some discolouration to the upholstery consistent with age and use. Please refer to photographs.
