An original English “dial-a-drink” recipe cocktail shaker dating from the 1930s. This ingenious Art Deco bar accessory features a rotating outer sleeve mechanism; by turning the body of the shaker, small windows reveal detailed recipes for a variety of classic cocktails including Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Bronx, Bacardi, and more. Ingredient quantities are clearly displayed, making it both a practical tool and a highly decorative piece.

Emerging just as Prohibition was lifted in the United States in 1933, these shakers captured the renewed enthusiasm for cocktail culture and home entertaining.
