An elegant vintage porcelain ashtray by Hermès Paris, dating from the second half of the 20th century.

Of square form with two cigarette rests, the ashtray is delicately decorated with a botanical design depicting green water lily pads and a flowering white water lily. The restrained composition is complemented by a fine green border and contrasting metallic detailing around the rim.

The delicate aquatic motif and understated palette give the piece a particularly refined appearance, characteristic of the beautifully illustrated porcelain accessories produced by Hermès during this period.

Condition: in good vintage condition with surface wear, scratches and marks consistent with age and use, including some wear to the rim decoration. Please refer to photographs
