An Omega Genève Dynamic automatic wristwatch, Switzerland, late 1960s

£695.00

A distinctive Omega Genève Dynamic automatic wristwatch, produced during the late 1960s to early 1970s — a period when Omega embraced bold, modernist design. The watch features the characteristic Dynamic case shape, with its smooth, rounded oval profile designed to sit ergonomically on the wrist.

The dial presents an eye-catching two-tone design with a deep blue circular chapter ring surrounding a silver centre. Fine minute markers radiate around the outer edge, while the dial is signed Omega Automatic and Genève Dynamic. A day-date aperture appears at the 3 o’clock position, adding practicality to the striking design. The bright blue seconds hand enhances the vibrant, sporty aesthetic.

The brushed stainless steel case complements the dial’s modern look, while the watch is fitted with a perforated blue leather strap that echoes the period’s racing-inspired style. A highly collectible Omega model, appreciated for its bold design and its place within the brand’s experimental late-1960s era.

Introduced in 1967, the Dynamic line was one of Omega’s most innovative designs, combining unconventional case geometry with strong graphic dials. Today these watches are celebrated for their distinctly late-60s aesthetic and forward-thinking ergonomics.

Condition: good vintage condition with light wear to the case and dial consistent with age. Original strap. Please refer to photographs.
