A mahogany Art Deco drinks trolley, England, early to mid-20th century
An unusual English mahogany drinks trolley dating from the early to mid-20th century, with a design strongly influenced by the Art Deco period.
The trolley is distinguished by its striking circular frame, formed from two large curved mahogany hoops enclosing three graduated rectangular shelves. The geometric arrangement creates an architectural and highly decorative profile while providing generous space for bottles, glassware and serving accessories.
The warm mahogany construction and combination of circular and rectilinear forms give the piece a distinctive Art Deco character. Raised on four substantial castors for ease of movement.
Condition: good vintage condition with surface wear, marks, scratches and areas of wear consistent with age and use. Please refer to the photographs for further details of condition.
