A spherical hand made Murano glass lamp with subtle diagonal satin white striping and a beautifully even globe proportion, presented on a flat polished brass disc base. The light quality is highly atmospheric and reads both sculptural and architectural, elevating a room on mood alone. The form recalls the best late period Venetian modern lighting vocabulary of the 1970s through 1980s where small scale domestic glass sculpture and functional light merged as one object.
